Kareena’s pictures from Kurbaan has sparked the controversy. These images are used in the publicity posters for the movie showing Saif Ali Khan shirtless and Kareena Kapoor’s back. Shiv Sena spoke out against the posters claiming that the pictures of Kareena Kapoor are nudes and hence obscene and offensive to Indian people. Shiv Sena spokesperson offered to send Kareena a Sari to cover up her naked back. In response to the sari comment Kareena retaliated by demanding a ‘Good One’.

The movie’s posters were released almost two weeks ago and they went almost completely unnoticed, until Shiv Sena pointed them out. Allegedly some of their activists took to the streets of Mumbai and teared down the posters. The controversy has developed immense public interest in the posters and now ever one wants to see them. The publicity had been beneficial for both the Shiv Sena and the movie Kurbaan. Providing them with free air time on news tv channels all over the country.

The real life couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming movie Kurbaan is among one of the most highly anticipated projects in Bollywood. But the silly stunts to gain publicity are now making people think that the actual movie wont be as good and entertaining as the controversies surrounding it. First there were news items detailing a hot bed scene between Kareena and Saif, and now the poster controversy. Already there are pictures of a kissing scene between Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor circulating all over the web. Kurbaan which is expected to be released on 27 November will surely gain a good headstart at the box office after all this free publicity earned by controversies and rumors.

Shahid Kapoor is everywhere once again and this time Kareena is not the reason. I have always believed that he is a really talented actor. With his cute boy nextdoor charm, brilliant acting skills and his beautifully sculpted body he is going to rule the Hindi cinema. I am really impressed by his performance in ‘Kaminey’. Reviewers and critics has praised Kaminey for brilliant direction from Vishal Bhardwaj but I think that without the perfection and the charm that Shahid brought to the characters it was not possible for Bhardwaj to do this movie. In CNN-IBN’s movie review for Kaminey, Rajeev Masand writes: “Shahid Kapur rises to the challenge of creating two entirely different characters out of Charlie and Guddu, and delivers a credible performance as each.”

Kaminey is not the only wonderful thing that Shahid brought us. We are also thankful for his new look. I lack the words to describe it, its macho with boyish cute looks and its just so wonderful. You love him shirtless but you can’t stop loving him when he is fully dressed. Even though gone are the days when we had heroes that were not able to dance (Sunny Deol, Jackie Sheroff or Dharmendra), but Shahid dances so well sometimes even better than Hrithik Roshan. No offense to Hrithik fans but he is like the Greek God that we all could only dream of but Shahid is something that looks ordinarily beautiful.

This year has been very good for Shahid so far. Even his love life is shifting gears. It is rumored that Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are seeing eachother. Officially neither Shahid nor Priyanka has confirmed it yet. But Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor has signed Priyanka with Shahid in his upcoming movie. So it would be a family production.Just like Shahid, I feel that Priyanka also belongs to the lot of the under-appreciated young talents of Hindi film industry. Its good that the two get together as we hope to see some great performances from both of them in the future.

All our male actors and models who are in their 40s are nowdays dying to show us the ruins of the wonderful bodies of theirs. I agree that even the ruins of these bodies are hot, its just that it feels a bit awkward seeing them doing things in their desperate attempts to look younger. Just when we had to see (and what an ugly sight it was) Shahrukh Khan’s six pack abs, and Aamir Khan’s sexy new all buffed up and muscled body in Ghajini. We also saw Akshay Kumar appearing in Levi’s Jeans ads (pictures below). Does he looks better than Shahrukh and Aamir? Certainly he does. There is something very masculine about Akshay, something very wild and animalistic.

I have previously talked about Akshay Kumar’s new all waxed and hair free body. Our readers agreed that they liked Akshay Kumar’s hairy chest better. But unfortunately the advertisers do not agree with the masses. They wanted a hair free shaved Akshay Kumar and Akshay had to comply. After all at the end of the day this is how he earns his bread by cashing the popularity. Ghajini an Aamir Khan production directed by A.R.Murugadoss. Cast included Sanya Sivakumar, Nayantara, Asin, Pradeep Singh Remat, Riyan Khan and of course Aamir Khan himself, so yes the movie was expected to be a hit. The movie right from the first day of the shooting had created a huge hype among the fans of Aamir Khan and also the critics who were waiting with their pens ready for the movie to hit the cinema.

The story of Ghajini was based on the old and much used concept of short term memory loss faced by Aamir Khan in the movie. However, It had its own unique charm of a different narrative. A new approach to retell the story of revenge. It all fits well, how Aamir and Asin met, the chemistry, the charisma and the comedy is fun to watch. How Asin is killed and how Aamir khan prepares himself for vengeance and helps himself with tattooing himself to remember everything which he forgets. The songs are great; one becomes speechless when it comes to the cinematography. No one can have relevant criticism when it comes to the way Aamir khan movies pay attention to every detail in each and every scene. Every minor detail is given high importance which is rarely found in Bollywood movies but we always find it in Aamir Khan’s production.

Talking about the movie I believe that other than Aamir Khan all of the characters were merely supporting characters even Asin because the whole story revolves around Aamir Khan. Even if there was someone else in place of Aamir Khan then I would say that the movie would have had 60% chances of being a flop. The power packed performance of Aamir Khan made the movie blockbuster which it is today. Of course majority of the audience was here to see Aamir Khan marvelous body which he had to workout on for three months straight and I mean a heavy workout!

Other than that the movie rating is for everyone but parents should watch out when the naked rage takes over the movie as it is harmful for children. A social activist requested the Supreme Court to have the movie rated as adult rating. As a result a few scenes were removed from the movie but still the movie does have some disturbing scenes and parents should watch out.

Even though it had disturbing scenes and OK story line but still critics and the audience came out with huge smiles on their faces after the first show and almost everyone gave compliments. The movie truly speaks for itself by doing a business of 200 crores in the first two weeks and making itself a truly blockbuster, breaking all records of 2008 and opening new boundaries and new challenges for our Bollywood industry. I would not want to rate the movie as it is just a remarkable piece which adds up to the list of Rang De Basanti, Taare Zameen Par and Jaane tu ya Jaane Na but just for official records I would give it a 4.5/5.

Upen Patel is one of my personal favorite Indian Bollywood hunks. But, unfortunately Upen is all muscles and no brains at all. Who cares if he can not act well? At least I don’t.  As long as he is shirtless wearing swim trunks I am all OK to watch the entire movie). It seems that our sexy desi male model is having tough time getting new projects. He is capable of staying alive in the gossip columns but even then no major project or role for him. He recently had differences with the director of his upcoming movie One Two Three. It is rumored that the director Ashwin Dheer was so fed up of Upen that he completely edited out an entire item song of Upen from the movie. Now this is a really terrible news for all of us Upen Patel fans, we might have watched the movie in hope of seeing Upen Patel’s naked body. Ashwin wasn’t satisfied enough with this he took one more step and humiliated Upen publicly on the occasion of the music launch of the movie. Ashwin Dheer invited entire cast on the stage and completely ignored Upen who was standing among the crowd. Upen expressed his anger by telling that he was shell shocked and humiliated. Upen blames Ashwin’s attitude as the prejudice towards non-filmi self made new actors.


Upen also caused trouble on the sets of his another movie, Money Hai Tu Honey Hai. It is reported that Upen teared his shirt in frustration and anger over the designers assigned to dress him up for the movie. Upen said that the designer duo often picked up jeans and tshirts from cheap stalls for Upen to wear and most of the time they would simple suggest him to go shirtless (Upen baby you should have considered their advice there is not much you have to offer than your bare chest scenes). The producer then hired a new designer exclusively for Upen Patel.

It is also rumored that he has ditched girlfriend Shamita Singha and now seeing Gauhar Khan. (Who the hell is Gauhar Khan?) A simple Google search revealed that she is a famous model. Apparently Upen met her during a fashion show and then there were sparks of attraction on both ends. We wish Upen best of luck but we also think that he should concentrate more on his Hindi lessons and acting skills.

Bollywood is really progressing now. No one can rule over the box office with only good looks. One needs extra ordinary acting and dancing skills with lots of charisma to keep with the competitors.

I was disappointed to see two young actors debuting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mega budget movie, Saawariya. Their only claim to fame was that their fathers were super stars of Indian cinema. I thought that being a multi million dollar industry, investors in Bollywood should learn to invest their money on really talented people. I was wrong, how could I say that these two youngsters were not talented with out seeing the movie. When I saw the movie, I realized that the two new comers Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are brilliant actors.

To be very honest Ranbir Kapoor is an ordinary looking guy with extra ordinary charms on his hand. He acted so well that I finished the movie despite the crappy script, annoying dialogues and heavy-on-eye sets. I loved the song Jab say teray Naina. It is the song where Ranbir is wrapped in a Towel and showing his beautiful, youthful and admirable body. We have seen enough of Salman’s shirtless body. Shahrukh’s abs in Om Shanti Om were sensational too. But these guys are old and they do not excite us the way Ranbir did.

Sonam Kapoor is definitely not as pretty as Om Shanti Om’s Deepika. But she is definitely a much more talented actoress. Bhansali failed to dress her up properly, he also failed to offer her some classy dance number, but he managed to show the innocence and beauty of the character. It was hard to believe that this Sonam’s first movie. She delivered her lines confidently and succeeded to fill colors in her role.

I am not saying that Saawariya is a great movie. It is neither great nor good. In fact it is Bhansali’s failed attempt to mixing up art and commercial cinema. But you can not deny the fact that Bhansali made it look beautiful. Ranbir and Sonam were the best choice. Rani Mukherjee gave a mindblowing performance as Gulab ji. But there were also many weak points. For example Salman’s mysterious character wasn’t presented properly. Dialogues were not well written, there were several holes in the script. The sets were great to portray the fictious city but the blue and green scenery became too heavy on eyes after the first hour of the movie. The role of Ranbir Raj’s grandmother Zohra Sehgal resembled a lot like Anari’s Mrs. D’sza played by Lalita Pawar.

Bhansali should realize that not all great stories meant to be filmed and converted to Hindi Cinema. There must be some really great writers with really great and untold stories available in the market. It would be great if for once Bhansali gives us a story that is not told before. He should stop mimmicking the great canvases of legendary stories with his artistic touch. Instead, it would be truly great if he shows us his work with his own canvas and his own true colors.

We loved Shahrukh Khan unconditionally. But in his upcoming movie Om Shanti Om , we would be able to watch a totally different Shahrukh Khan. This new one has muscles and a a perfect body with six pack abs, thin waist and a broad chest. It is not that we didn’t like the old Shahrukh Khan. He looked extremely hot in his old shirtless pictures too. But this is the first time that Shahrukh Khan is appearing as a sexy item in a movie song. He gets out of the clothes for the first time to show his body. And for that reason the body has to be something that would make his fans go compeletly crazy. Director Farah Khan told in an interview:

I always wanted that before I retire from choreography I should at least do one song that I can have Shah Rukh as an item boy. And we had discussed during Main Hoon Na but then he had a back operation and could not work out. But he promised me if I will ever remove my shirt, it will be for you.

Shahrukh’s love interest in the movie, Deepika told in an interview:

When all of us were shooting, we would have lunch and dinner together. We would have biryani, chocolate and ice cream, he would be eating his diet food. So, he has really worked hard

Shahrukh Khan worked hard to achieve this goal. He took a three months break from shootings to concentrate on his work out routine. It is really going to pay off. The song Dard-e-Disco is already topping the charts. The video is hot and the sexy image of Shahrukh Khan is totally changed now. The 42 year old superstar is still much more popular than guys who are much more younger than him. He has the sex appeal that most Indian actors can only dream of.

If you didn’t notice he has his pants unbuttoned and you can almost feel the bulge in his pants.

Bollywood’s leading male singer, Sonu Nigaam has accused Subhash K. Jha of sexual harrassment. Subhash is a senior film journalist and Sonu accused him of sending him lewd SMS messages and asking for sexual favors. We have had sexual harrassment, casting couch and other such scandals in Bollywood before. But this is probably the first time when a male star has accused another male personality for sexual harassment. Even though people including myself always thought Sonu Nigam looks so gay (look at the picture below). But now that he has denied the rumors I take his words. He is straight and so cute.

Sonu says that Subhash K Jha is openly gay and almost every body in the film industry knows that. Sonu also told that once Subhash got drunk and tried to misbehave with him and expressed his love (or may be lust) for the cute singer. When Sonu refused to entertain Subhash’s dirty desires, he started to write negative about him in his film columns. In an open letter to the Times of India Sonu wrote:

It’s not a secret in the industry that he is a homosexual. God bless him for homosexuals are normal people with just different sexual preferences, just like men lusting for women is not a taboo. But a man punishing a woman for not complying with his sexual advancement is an issue right? So why isn’t a man imposing upon another man an issue? Isn’t this a free world?

If someone can do this to me, I wonder what the new strugglers, models and actors have to go through in this industry? My heart goes out to them. Please let them know we are not living in a jungle where someone’s silence is taken as a sign of weakness by a beast! Let them know that homosexuals have their right to be themselves in this society, but so do heterosexuals!

This is no more a secret that there are gay celebrities. Gay Indian actors who live an openly gay life style but media still considers it a taboo to bring out this gay Bollywood actors, models, producers, directors, etc to light. There are men in Bollywood who ask for sexual favors not only to female new comers but men are also a target of their lustful desires. I think it is important that such people should be brought to justice so that talented people can make their way into the entertainment industry without fearing any sexual harassment.
