Salman Khan threw a big party on the occassion of his girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s birthday on 16th July. The party has become the talk of the town for three reasons. First, Salman Khan proposed Katrina Kaif. Secondly, after a very long time there was an event where the media saw the three Khans (Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan) of bollywood under one roof. Thirdly, some Mumbai based tabloids reported of a fight between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan.

It is said that Salman Khan was poking fun at Shahrukh Khan. Salman joked about Shahrukh Khan’s recent flops but what made Shahrukh Khan loose temper was when Salman Khan said that “Shahrukh Khan is a superstar who is Paanchvi Fail”. This was pointed towards Shahrukh Khan’s unsuccessful television show “Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass se Tez hain”. Shahrukh Khan said something in return and then there was a full blown verbal fight between the stars. Shahrukh’s wife Gauri took him out of the party when it looked like that the two actors are going to attack each other physically.

We don’t know how much of this is truth. SAWF’s Vijainder K Thakur talked to his journalist friends who were present at the party. He writes:

a surprising fact about the spat is that no journalist seems to have witnessed it, and there were a lot of them there!

Salman Khan has reacted to the media reports of the fight on his blog. But in his response he neither confirmed nor refused that any such thing happened at the party. However, he is angry over the media reports. In his response he compared the journalists with street dogs. Salman’s girlfriend Katrina and Shahrukh Khan were questioned by media about the fight but they did not comment.

The mystery of who killed Aarushi is yet to be solved but it seems like police is just as clueless as the media and general public. There was criminal neglect during the initial investigations which perhaps provided murderer a chance to destroy evidence. So far the investigations had been totally biased and one sided. The police is still unable to provide a satisfactory explanation of why a father would kill his daughter just to hide his illicit affair with a colleague.

On May 16, a 14 year old girl named Aarushi found dead at her house in Noida, at first police announced reward on missing domestic servant, a 45 year old man Hemraj. Next day police found the body of Hemraj from the terrace of the same house. Mystery: Why police didn\’t search the house properly on the first day. Another mystery is that Aarushi’s mother was in the house asleep in the room that is only a few feet away from Aarushi’s room. How come she didn’t hear anything when two people got killed in the very same house? Was she drugged or may be she is hiding something.

On May 23, police arrested Aarushi’s father Rajesh Talwar claiming that Dr. Rajesh Talwar killed her daughter and the servant after finding his daughter in an objectionable position with the guy. It was told that Dr. Talwar first murdered Hemraj and then Aarushi. The next day Aarushi’s mother claims that her husband is innocent and he didn’t kill his own daughter. The Uttar Pardesh State police kept parroting their theory of honor killing. The friends and family of the victim Aarushi raised their voice against the police campaign to defame a dead teenage girl who was brutally murdered. A new theory as motive of murder was then coined by State police that Dr. Talwar murdered his daughter Aarushi and servant Hemraj to hide his illicit affair with a colleague. Apprantely the colleague that was blamed to be having an affair with Dr. Talwar came out and denied all allegations. State police was criticised by every one for criminal neglect in the investigations. Media pressure pushed the UP government to recommend CBI investigation.

CBI registered the case against Dr. Rajesh Talwar on June 1. CBI interrogated Anita Durrani the woman blamed by state police for having an affair with Rajesh Talwar. CBI also examined the house to find the murder weapon. After that they have taken Rajesh Talwar’s compounder Krishna after initial interrogation they arrested Krishna as suspect. CBI still doesn’t think that Krishna murdered Aarushi or Hemraj but they think he might be involved in destroying or hiding the evidence of the crime. It should be clear that Aarushi was not raped before murder. Nothing valuable is reported to be missing or stolen from the house. The state police that was presenting the case as honor killing has several loop holes in their theory. No one still knows who murdered Aarushi and Hemraj. If it was her father Rajesh Talwar, then what motive he had to commit such a horrible crime? The Times of India reports that an Aarushi like case rocked Mumbai in 2000. When police arrested a father for the murder of his 16 year old girl. However, just like Aarushi’s case the policed failed to prove it in the court. The father had no motive and all evidences failed to prove anything at the court. The family of the girl then filed a complain in High court to order police for the re-investigation of the case and arrest the real killer.

Another MMS clip made in the University of Mumbai’s Kalina campus has sparked another scandal. The mms video clip shows two students of the university having sex on the floor of the student council office. The faces of both students are not visible in the video but the male student is the general secretary of the University’s student council. He is affiliated with Samatvadi Chatrabharati party.

Since the student polls are due in two months it seems like this new MMS clip scandal is politically motivated. According to police, the man who filed the complain and informed the media is National Students Union of India’s president Sadaf Aboli. Mr. Aboli has previously accused a college professor of sexually harassing a female student. However the professor was given clean chit by police. It looks like Aboli is a person with a very dangerous and dirty mind. Aboli told the media that they were at the second floor when they hear noises coming from the ground floor office. They went down to invesitgate, when the peered from the window they saw General Seceratry making out with a girl.

Meanwhile the accused male student claims to be innocent. He says that he was not involved in any such incident. His party’s senior leader claims that the boy shares a brotherly love with the girl in the mms clip.

It is not the first time that MMS video clips caused serious problems, previously a girl from Jamshedpur became a victim of such an incident. MMS videos are used for marketing latest bollywood movies and music albums and are very effective marketing. But such viral and pornographic desi mms clips are most of the time illegal and they cause serious damage to the lives of innocent girls on these videos.

Kangana Ranaut is the new hot spicy thing after Mallika Sherawat. Though we loved Mallika for giving us chances to fill our blog posts with gossip, pictures and controversies. But it seems like Mallika has sobred and she is now “really” focused on her career as an actress. But bollywood had always been full of girls who always provided us hot new content. I feel that Kangana is the new Mallika Sherawat.

She appeared nude on the cover of the Stardust’s 2007 annual issue. Claiming that she wasn’t nude at all:

I was wearing a body suit all the time and whats the big deal about that photo? Are any of my vital organs seen? I haven’t posed nude at all.

Recently Kangana’s driver filed a complain against her in a local police station for physical assualt. According to the complain the driver reported that Kangana Ranaut slapped him infront of her sister and make up man who also attempted to hit the driver. The poor driver’s only fault was that he bumped into another vehicle accidentally while driving Kangana to film studios.

Upen Patel is one of my personal favorite Indian Bollywood hunks. But, unfortunately Upen is all muscles and no brains at all. Who cares if he can not act well? At least I don’t.  As long as he is shirtless wearing swim trunks I am all OK to watch the entire movie). It seems that our sexy desi male model is having tough time getting new projects. He is capable of staying alive in the gossip columns but even then no major project or role for him. He recently had differences with the director of his upcoming movie One Two Three. It is rumored that the director Ashwin Dheer was so fed up of Upen that he completely edited out an entire item song of Upen from the movie. Now this is a really terrible news for all of us Upen Patel fans, we might have watched the movie in hope of seeing Upen Patel’s naked body. Ashwin wasn’t satisfied enough with this he took one more step and humiliated Upen publicly on the occasion of the music launch of the movie. Ashwin Dheer invited entire cast on the stage and completely ignored Upen who was standing among the crowd. Upen expressed his anger by telling that he was shell shocked and humiliated. Upen blames Ashwin’s attitude as the prejudice towards non-filmi self made new actors.


Upen also caused trouble on the sets of his another movie, Money Hai Tu Honey Hai. It is reported that Upen teared his shirt in frustration and anger over the designers assigned to dress him up for the movie. Upen said that the designer duo often picked up jeans and tshirts from cheap stalls for Upen to wear and most of the time they would simple suggest him to go shirtless (Upen baby you should have considered their advice there is not much you have to offer than your bare chest scenes). The producer then hired a new designer exclusively for Upen Patel.

It is also rumored that he has ditched girlfriend Shamita Singha and now seeing Gauhar Khan. (Who the hell is Gauhar Khan?) A simple Google search revealed that she is a famous model. Apparently Upen met her during a fashion show and then there were sparks of attraction on both ends. We wish Upen best of luck but we also think that he should concentrate more on his Hindi lessons and acting skills.

Salman Khan is so hot that even religious clerics can’t resist his hotness and popularity. Muslim Clerics of Darul Ifta has issued a fatwa against Salman Khan for attending Ganesh Puja (A Hindu Festival where people gather to worship Ganesh). The Muftis told media that Islam strictly forbids all kind of idol worship and by attending such a worship. Committing this crime Salman Khan is no more a Muslim. In order to regain his faith again Salman Khan must recite the Kalma in front of an Imam (the mosque leader) and two Muslim witnesses.

Being a Muslim I have no doubt about the Fatwa. The Tauheed (believing that there is no God but Allah) is the most important aspect of being a Muslim. This is the most fundamental principle of Islam. By showing any gratitude towards any false God we commit the sin of Shirk (making false gods who share Allah’s powers). So there is no doubt about the authenticity of the Fatwa.

But the question is, did Salman really took part in the worship or he was just there to attend a festival to make his millions of Hindu fans happy. If he was there only to attend the festival and not to worship, and his motive was to spread the religious harmony and brotherhood among different religious communities. Then he does not need any fatwa and does not need to get back to Islam. But only Salman knows what was in his heart when he was attending the festival.

About Fatwas, Islamic scholars do not issue a fatwa to harm a person’s popularity or things like that. In order to issue Fatwa they need someone who files a question. The guidance seeker provides them the information and based on the given information they issue their fatwa. For example some person shows them the pictures of some actress and asks them what does Islam says about this actress wearing this kind of clothes. Or someone shows them press statement of some person and asks them what Islam has to say about this. So the Fatwa is basically a general ruling and it is not targetted towards some specific person. It just explains things according to principles of Islam. I think this is what the religious clerics did in Salman’s case. They were told about Salman Khan attending Ganesh Pooja and they simply told that attending any worship of any false gods makes a person Murtid (the one who denies the basic faith) and in order regain his/her faith the person needs to recite the Kalma again in front of two Muslim witnesses.

The media loves to spice up things and they make it a Fatwa against Salman Khan. It is a fatwa against Salman Khan but it was not issued to pin point Salman Khan, it only explains basic principles of Islam. But since the questionnaire asked specifically about Salman Khan thats why it seems like a fatwa against Salman Khan. The Ulemas would have said the same thing even if it was not about Salman Khan.

Bollywood’s leading male singer, Sonu Nigaam has accused Subhash K. Jha of sexual harrassment. Subhash is a senior film journalist and Sonu accused him of sending him lewd SMS messages and asking for sexual favors. We have had sexual harrassment, casting couch and other such scandals in Bollywood before. But this is probably the first time when a male star has accused another male personality for sexual harassment. Even though people including myself always thought Sonu Nigam looks so gay (look at the picture below). But now that he has denied the rumors I take his words. He is straight and so cute.

Sonu says that Subhash K Jha is openly gay and almost every body in the film industry knows that. Sonu also told that once Subhash got drunk and tried to misbehave with him and expressed his love (or may be lust) for the cute singer. When Sonu refused to entertain Subhash’s dirty desires, he started to write negative about him in his film columns. In an open letter to the Times of India Sonu wrote:

It’s not a secret in the industry that he is a homosexual. God bless him for homosexuals are normal people with just different sexual preferences, just like men lusting for women is not a taboo. But a man punishing a woman for not complying with his sexual advancement is an issue right? So why isn’t a man imposing upon another man an issue? Isn’t this a free world?

If someone can do this to me, I wonder what the new strugglers, models and actors have to go through in this industry? My heart goes out to them. Please let them know we are not living in a jungle where someone’s silence is taken as a sign of weakness by a beast! Let them know that homosexuals have their right to be themselves in this society, but so do heterosexuals!

This is no more a secret that there are gay celebrities. Gay Indian actors who live an openly gay life style but media still considers it a taboo to bring out this gay Bollywood actors, models, producers, directors, etc to light. There are men in Bollywood who ask for sexual favors not only to female new comers but men are also a target of their lustful desires. I think it is important that such people should be brought to justice so that talented people can make their way into the entertainment industry without fearing any sexual harassment.

Many British citizens of Indian origins are trying to make themselves a career in Hindi movies. Katrina Kaif, Jiyah Khan and so hot and sexy Upen Patel. Getting work in show business needs charisma and popularity but how once could achieve popularity with out getting a major role in a big bollywood movie? Well, the answer is quite simple, get yourself involved in scandal and use your connections in the media to get the scandal published. Breaking the scandal on Television is good but even gossip columns can do wonders.

Latest in an NRI’s Bollywood scandals is Hazel’s casting couch story. You may have noticed her in nokia, sunsilk and lays commercials. This English beauty arrived here with dreams to make it big in Bollywood. During her struggling days she was once invited by some filmmaker (She doesn’t want to reveal his name) for an audition. The film maker wanted to see her in Bikini but as she didn’t bring any bikini costume with her, the film maker asked her to strip because he wanted to see how she looks in her under garments. Hazel walked out of the audition.

I don’t see the reason behind her walking out of an audition for a big bollywood movie. May be she was not wearing any undergarments. But when going for an audition, I think that any professional actor would at least keep extra clothes and other accessories in some bag. Its not that getting undressed is the usual auditioning routine, but what if something bad happens like an accident or something getting your clothes ruined. Hazel’s story is a reminder for all the girls trying to get work in bollywood, “Always carry bikini with you on auditions”.
