Kareena has refused a film with Abhishek Bachchan. She said she wont feel comfortable working with him. How so unprofessional. But this similar not so professional attitude and flame war was actually initiated by Abhishek Bachchan who refused to work with Kareena in a Karan Johar production (many actors in the industry would do any thing to get one such movie). If I were Kareena I might have told Abhishek that he is a lousy actor and that who needs Abhishek when we have Karan in our pocket?

Priyanka said recently that sensuality lies in the eyes of a woman not in her clothes. I agree 100% with Priyanka, but unfortunately men don’t really get this. They would love to see Priyanka in Bikini rather than Priyanka in veil or burqa. Being a professional model and actress Priyanka knows that and this is why she wanted to look like classic Indian sex bomb Zeenat Aman while doing photoshoot for Maxim magazine. Rediff has a slideshow of Bollywood’s sexiest Heroines. Obviously it begins with the picture of Mallika Sherawat’s item number from Guru. It seems Mallika completes the day at the Rediff headquarters. Just look around and you will notice that there is Mallika even when there is nothing to talk about her kissing scenes or sexy dance numbers.

Late Nusrat Fatah Ali Khan’s nephew, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performed at Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi on Saturday. My answer is yes, there are many talented actors working on television and some of them need an average, balanced in masala items, and two-hit-songs-packed-inside movie to start their Bollywood Journey. It just doesn’t end here they need such films for sometime before they become able to get the movies they want.

Subhash K. Jha, reports that Karan Johar is planning to record a show with the Bachchans and Aishwarya. Karan is a very optimistic person and I agree with Subhash that the guest list is getting ambitious every day. Koffee mayn dam nahi bomb hai!

And you would have to be one daft-bum to not knowledge the reality that if there is one man who can coerce anyone to spill out their dark-side (including the ones who dislike his type of cinema) then that man has to be Karan Johar.

Fans and motion picture industry in Bollywood are eagerly looking for Farhan Akhter’s “Don“. Starring Shahrukh Khan, this movie is a remake of a 1978 classic Don, directed by Chandra Barot and Don’s character played by legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Farhan Akhter’s father Javed Akhter wrote the screenplay and dialogues of the original movie.

Shahrukh Khan is playing the role of Don. Farhan Akhter reportedly said that the original movie while a classic but still didn’t do the justice to the script. He is an optimist and has a hit like ‘Dil Chahta hai’ and a super boring ‘Lakhsya’ on his credit. But if he thinks that he can do the justice with the script by giving Don a more James Bondish look then I think he is mistaking. Looking at the trailers, songs, movie downloads and movie website, one can easily predict that this movie would be copying visual and sound effects from hollywood movies like Matrix, all Bond movies, Mission Impossible, etc.

I don’t think that a cheap copy of special effects can make any Indian movie special. People want to see some thing original, something they can relate to and they can not see Vijay acting like Keanu Reeves. This chase as seen in trailers and posters takes place in either Malaysia or Singapore. India is not a very shiny place for these directors or perhaps they think that their Heroes can perform well in Forgein countries.

Krrish, the sequel of Koi Mil Gaya is going to hit the theaters in June this year. This movie is supposed to be a different kind of movie and critics are expecting that it would set a new trend of Super Hero flicks in Hindi movies. Directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan the Sequel has Hrithik Roshan as Krrish. Preity Zinta has a minor role in this movie. Priyanka Chopra is playing the love interest of Krrish in the movie.

Story and Plot

Continuing the story from the prequel’ Koi Mil Gaya’ the movie begins with Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) and Nisha (Preity Zinta), who are happily married and have a kid. They both die in a car accident. The kid starts growing up in his grand mother’s (Rekha) care. As he is growing up, he discovers that he has superpowers. He later discovers that Alien Jado transferred his powers into his father. The movie basically shows how he deals with his power and saves the world from a villain, played by Naseeruddin Shah.

Music

Music of Krrish is composed by Rajesh Roshan. Previously the movie was titled ‘Koi Tumsa Nahin’ but it never came to final consideration. The movie still has a song titled Koi Tumsa Nahin. The music as it appears in trailors is melodious and Roshans are expecting it do better than the music of Koi Mil Gaya. The song “Main Hoon Voh Aasman” is inspired by score from the game The Dig composed by Michael Land and Richard Wagner.

My Opinion

Well its just another Masala Hindi Movie. As you have read above that Rajesh has stolen the score from a game in a song for the movie. Rakesh Roshan the director has also stolen outfits from Matrix and Spiderman. Mid-day even reports smilarities in some scenes of Krrish and Spiderman. You can watch movie trailors on the official website of Krrish which currently has only one tease trailor. There is nothing original in the movie but it will do great business on box office. I just want to see Hrithik Roshan shirtless and I would watch this movie for this sole purpose.
