There is huge speculation going around about Aishwarya Rai being pregnant. We don’t know whether or not its true. Many journalists have asked Aishwarya this question since past few days but she neither denied nor confirmed the news. She dodged the question cleverly.

What ignite the rumor was Aishwarya and Abhishek’s recent interview during the promotion of Amitabh Bachchan corporation’s movie Paa. Aishwarya and Abhishek said that they would announce a good news soon. After that media started noticing Aishwarya who has gained a little extra weight during past month. The rumor further strengthened when the news came up that Aishwarya is trying to complete her work in the coming movies before the schedule.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek both has told media that they are considering starting their family soon but its too early to say anything about it. They also assured media that the good news will be delievered to the media in appropriate manner and on the right time. Remember that if Aishwarya Rai gets pregnant now it will seriously effect Ben Kingsley movie on Taj Mahal in which Aishwarya is proposed the role of Mumtaz Mahal. Most probably the Bachchans dont want to let out the news before they sign a contract for this project. Remember since Bachchans are now trying to rejuvenate Amitabh Bachchan Film company, they might also want to compete for the distribution rights of Ben Kingsley’s Taj specially in local market where the Bachchan name would ensure higher returns for the company.

Shilpa Shetty got married to Raj Kundra, a London based businessman. 34 year old Shilpa’s career in Bollywood wasn’t as such great. But following the controversy of Big Brother Shilpa acquired an skill to remain famous for just being famous. She hasn’t worked in any worth mentioning bollywood movie since ages. Who is Raj Kundra? He is a young millionaire from UK. Raj Kundra had an interest in Bollywood since a long time. Previously he tried to penetrate his way into Bollywood by launching Velocity Entertainment company which aimed to redistribute Hindi movies to European and North American markets. At that time in 2004, Raj Kundra told the media that he has grown up watching Hindi movies and he dreams to make it big in Bollywood. So I guess marrying a Bollywood Heroine is the dream come true for Raj.

Shilpa’s wedding got huge press coverage. It was an expansive wedding where money was no issue at all so it was bound to get media’s attention even if there was no Shilpa in the wedding. The couple has planned to spend their honeymoon in Paradise Islands, Bahamas. According to sources Raj Kundra has booked a Luxury Suite for the couple at the Atlantic Resort. However, before leaving for the honeymoon Shilpa and her husband Raj Kundra are going to visit Oneness University in Chennai. According to the sources Shilpa and her husband are the followers of this spirtual group.

This week had been a little less eventful for the Bollywood as all the major releases are moved up to be released in the last of this month. We saw lots of Kareena and Saif together promoting their upcoming movie Kurbaan. We saw Aamir Khan talking about his upcoming idiotic adventure ’3 idiots’ where Aamir Khan who is currently 44 years old is playing a 22 year old college student.

According to Indiatimes Ranbir Kapoor’s good relations with Katrina Kaif was decessive turning point in the relationship. Deepika wanted Ranbir to put more effort in their relationship to succeed and Ranbir was unable to do that. Now his movie with Katrina Kaif ‘Ajab prem ki Ghazab Kahani’ is doing an average business and is expected to become a hit. Mumbai terror suspects had links to Bollywood Stars
David Headley, one of the suspects in the Mumbai terror attacks met bollywood actors, worked out with them and even visited the targetted locations with them. Rahul Bhatt, Emran Hashmi and some other Bollywood names get involved in the ongoing investigation. Of course, all of the linked stars has denied their association. But it seems like there is a big mess that is going to uncovered really soon.

Indian music maestro ustaad A. R. Rehman has won BAFTA award for the music of Slumdog Millionaire. Believe it or not I still haven’t seen the movie. But I have no doubt that A. R. Rehman’s music would be definitely outstanding. The man has proved himself a genius many times before. He is nominated for Oscar too and Allah Rakha Rehman is the only Indian with three Oscar nominations. Over all the movie Slumdog Millionaire has earned 10 Oscar nominations. Rediff.com talked to A. Bollywood has a tradition of following the trends. Once a movie with romantic theme becomes popular you would see every one making a romantic film. In recent years Hera Pheri sat a trend of comedy movies and got many more movies with similar themes including a sequel to Hera Pheri.

Sikh community has been ridiculed a lot in jokes and also in Hindi cinema as part of comic relief. But it was Akshay who decided to tribute to the simplicity of Sikh life style. So he did and became the king. So is it like another lucky charm for Bollywood machos or real big support to the neglected community. These days Sikhs are the new trend, and soon we will be seeing lots of movies with Sikh main characters in them.

Saif Ali Khan’s Home production picks Imtiaz Ali because he recently gave a big block buster “Jab we met” and Imtiaz decided to give Saif a new avatar of Sardarji; only in some flash back sequences. Saif is also pairing new sizzling Deepika Padukone in this film for the first time; so, all
demanding and desirable elements are captured in the film.

The Sikh Turban is becoming the hottest trend and people will soon watch Salman Khan playing a sardar in Samir Karnik’s multi starrer “Heroes” and would have been nice to watch the fairy-face hot actor Ranbir Kapoor who is also ready to play a sardar in Shimit Amit’s next flick.

In an interview Akshay mentioned about the backdrop of ‘Singh is King’ that how the project started. He read the line “singh is King” behind a rickshaw (a three wheeler) once and liked it and later on we can see how the whole idea emerged into the movie. Now the success of other movies following the Singh trend depends on how other work on their
ideas to emerge as a hit movie.

Young Sikhs are abandoning turban to adopt bollywood hairstyles The Telegraph reports. It is a very old news and it didn’t happen at once. It had to happen, and I don’t think that the Sikh guys are following Bollywood they are actually trying to bridge the cultural gap that a turban creates. I also feel that Sick-Sikh-Jokes also have a role in discouraging the traditional Sikh Turbans.
