Aamir Khan vs Shahrukh Khan
Everywhere anywhere, Salman Khan vs Shahrukh Khan’s rivalry is all over the Bollywood. Only a few people know that Aamir and SRK have an undeclared fight between them. Remember Farha Khan’s Om Shanti Om in which SRK stole the show and while also providing tremendous career growth to Deepika Padukone. Well, the trend has been adapted by our cute little Aamir. Having the film focus on him in terms of acting, story even songs! He has stolen the whole show and yet giving tremendous career growth to the south Indian actress Asin.
Of course how can we forget the six pack, we all can see the competition and Aamir really won that one flawless. One thing which no one realizes is that the competition between these two Khans is from the start. Yes, competition is healthy but we are talking about a personalized competition and it clearly shows when we see Aamir claiming in an interview that King Khan was “scared” to work with him.
“Fight! how can I dare to fight with Shahrukh. He is a very good friend and I have a lot of respect and love for him”. Aamir told the media while promoting Ghajini in Delhi and when he was asked about his views over SRK’s claim over the biggest screen star, Aamir took an indirect dig at the actor by saying, “People who are No 1. don’t state the obvious. For me Amitabh Bachchan is No 1. Does he ever claim about it. Does Lata Mangeshkar claim about it? Superstars don’t need to say anything about their status.”
From the very start SRK and Aamir have never shared screen space and even now. It is heard that they will make an appearance in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial debut ‘Luck by chance’ and guess what? SRK and Aamir will show up individually. This clearly shows that neither of them want eachothers A** to be bigger than theirs.
When Aamir threw the challenge to SRK by claiming that he is no. 1 Shah Rukh did not dare say a word against him. Instead he went on to say, “Aamir is a dear friend and if he says that I’m second to him then it’s a great compliment to him….oops that was a genuine slip of tongue (amidst peals of laughter)…I mean it’s a great compliment to me. We are complete opposites. He is an intelligent, intellectual person, I’m more physical. I do things. He thinks them out. I know his jokes, he knows mine. He is 100% No. 1…I just said Kkkk Kiran…he really loves Kkkkk Kiran”. Of course Aamir truly did himself with physical stuff so boo to SRK.
It is also true that Aamir named his dog Shahrukh. People think that Aamir admires Shahrukh so much that he named his dog after him but little do they know that what the real reason behind that is 
After a thrashing up from SRK’s fans Aamir apologized and said that he did not mean to offend but he thought that it would be a compliment for SRK (sure it was ).

shahrukh is more dissiplnate than the sick amir.srk is loved all over the world ;and amir is knowen only in india.he do that with king khan just using srk’s name so as to be known out of india .but what a pity now amir is known but as a jalous and a mad man sooooo negatif

Amir Khan is just very full of himself and has got a very low thinking, in regards to naming a dog after srk is just very pathetic, being done by a star like himself. And it is true he only wants to be known the way srk is known all around the world… (however we all know that isn’t going to happen with just ONE film through to the Oscars) it is right to say that he’s on could 9 at the moment only because of his film tare zameen par, even srk’s film Asoka went through to the Oscars but srk didn’t b**** about anyone (or look down on anyone) while his film got nominated. It just shows who’s more mature, about their status and who’s deserves to be at the top (i.e. SRK) and about Amitabh Bachchan … well yea he is (was) number one but srk is the top man of the Hindi film industry now, plus compared to some actors srk is much more down to earth than some top actors and he does NOT “state the obvious” it is evident that his status is much more higher than the other khans of bollywood ( and that’s is why the other khans (&others) try taking a dig at him because of the accomplishment of his career)

who says that SRK’s days are gone that person must be totally sleeping. Because he is not ready to accept that SRK is the only one who rules Bollywood. Aamir always uses SRK’s name in his interviews to collect some cheap publicity, because he knows that without SRK’s name it is not possible for him to become famous. But poor Aamir he does not know that by doing such stuff he himself has made his character down. Talking about SRK he is very much down to earth and an IDEAL human being.

Shahrukh is no doubt the king of bollywood and he will always be. Aamir is a good actor but by claiming that he is NO.1 it shows how cheap he is and his jealousy to SRK sky touching success. Sorry aamir but u cannot become SRK

there is no comparison btw amir and srk coz if we talk about acting then shahrukh is not even near amir because amir khan puts himself in the character no matter what chafracter he plays now let me give you one example in main hoo na srk played a sipahi with long hair role now that is not a versality because fauji people dont keep long hair – and in the climax how can anyone chase a van with fucking rikshaw i think he was trying to become keanu reeves from matrix, he just knows one thing how to dance a sing around trees with girls in movies because thats what he has been doing for years, he needs some change now – he should do some different roles and on the other hand amir khan according to character chnages his hairstyles in almost evey movie. HE IS THE BEST “AMIR KHAN”

Aamir is a pro at romance Farah ji. QSQT, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Raja Hindustani, Dil etc. are cult classics and landmark hits! In fact, it is Aamir who started the trend of romantic movies in Bollywood, with QSQT!

both aamir and shahrukh are great actors and both have to work together in a movie to applaude the audience worldwide.Speaking of who is great,I think both are equally great in putting up a wonderful show.people say only aamir is versatile but SRK too is versatile and this is shown in films like darr,anjaam(negative roles) and aamir aacording to me has not even touched a negative role.SRK is pretty well versed with not only romantic films but films with serious attitude of the protagonist(Chak de india,swades,baazigar,don)and even has a comedy to his name(baadshah).Dear anuj what else do you want to show that SRK is equally versatile as aamir and even he has got his films to oscars(hey ram,paheli).okay anuj you cannot decide a hero based on a single film.as you say “he should do some different roles ” is wrong as he has done different roles.this proves the versatality of SRK.I dont say SRK is great but just sa that he to is versatile and dear ayush the trend of romantic movies was there from the begining of bollywood.Speaking of SRK and his romantic hits and classics there are many(dewaana,kbhi haan kabhie naa,DDLJ,DTPH,KKHH,DEVDAS,KKKG,KHNH,VEER ZAARA,OM SHANTI OM,RAB NE BANA DI JODI”.So this clearly shows SRK is a pro in romance.

I think Aamir is a sincere guy and choose his movies which has some messages for audience but if you say that aamir is better actor then SRK it is totally wrong.SRK is big performer. we can put SRK after Amitabh Bachan.I think aamir is not any where in this race.Hritik and many more actors comes before aamir in acting.Recently
aamir did some movies which has very good script but all these movies were not hit because of aamir acting they did well because of their script.What acting SRK did in Dar,Devdas,Kal ho no ho,mohabbatain,Swadesh,chak de india and many more was really appreciated by people which makes SRK No 1.SRK has its own class and great facial expression.Aamir is mile away in this race actually he is not any where in race of acting.

Its just simple…Amir is jealous..No matter whatever he do…Amir can never be SRK….No one can be second SRK….SRK is the one who took bollywood outside india…SRK Movies now even give competition to hollywood movies. It is never possible for Amir to do that
And by the way if Amir+Salman+Akshay+Amitabh+Hritik and blah blah whatever, all come together, they all can never beat SRK. SRK RULES

If you are here and trying to tell the world that Aamir is not an actor I think , You better off in this blog. Becuase you have no sense that what you are saying. Let me tell you the story. All the major famous and legend actors said about aamir khan , that he is today Gurru Dutt or Dilip Kumar. This is not my words. This is what other Greate actors says about him. Take a look Kofee with Karan , Randhir Kapoor said , According to me Aamir is a great actor and I am seeing him in future Greater then Dilip Kumar or Raj Kapoor. Shah Rukh is popular but remember there is a defference between ACTOR and STAR. Shah Rukh Khan is a Star not an Actor , Aamir Khan is an Actor and he is also supper Star. i think Aamir is greater then shahrukh khan i am big fan of shahrukh khan but that is the
reality which year both have came Aamir always beat shahrukh khan. what you see with gajni
and rab ne bna de jodi and lagan and kabhi khushi kabhi gham and shahrukh only do film for money
but Aamir always give to us a pure verity and true moment if you compare with movie i think
shahrukh khan can never give like Aamir(sarfrosh,lagan,jo jita wohi sikender, fanahh,rang de
basnti) his all movie is a trademark shahrukh khan only have a remarkable movie chek de india

Anuj, what Rashid was saying previously was 100% correct. Srk is very versatile (not to say that Aamir is not). Both are good (maybe not great) actors. I agree that Srk keeps going back to big commercial movies (i.e. Om shanti om, RNBDJ) but has many great critical performances such as Kabhi ha kabhi na, Pardes, Mohabbatein, Swades, and Chake de. However, what we are doing is we as bollywood fans are chiefly interested in legacy. In the biggest actors in terms of impact are 1. Amitabh and 2. SRK. Even Amitabh has stated that he could never accomplish what Shah rukh has done. He said that he “tried” but could never get people overseas to watch his movies-this has been Srk’s doing only. 50-70 years from now every body will remember Amitabh and SRK, but I think most people will not know who is Aamir. He will be somebody lost to history like Bimal Roy. Don’t get me wrong Aamir is a good actor (like SRK), if you like his “style” more than it has do with your preference in movies. Aamir simply does more intense types of movies with anger and guns as well as face offs. SRK, does broader medley of work (in my opinion)like commerical movies, comedies, dramas, sports, comming of age movies etc. Both are solid actors but no doubt SRK has the greater legacy.

I had to write here because this debate seems quite silly to me. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. SRK is a commercial actor,he is a Star, he likes to entertain people and give them a dream world to escape into. Aamir on the other hand is a serious performer, he likes to do thought provoking cinema, he wants you to continue to think about the subject of the movie long after it is over. SRK cannot and probably does not wish to do the type of roles Aamir does. Aamir views himself too mature to do the roles SRK prefers, he doesn’t feel fulfilled professionally with them. They are both great at what they do. I like both of them, if I had to choose between them, I would watch an Aamir Khan movie over an SRK movie because I am past the age of dreaming and prefer watching movies with substance. I am an overseas movie goer. I disagree with the notion that SRK brought Hindi movies to overseas audience, the reason for the change has more to do with the quality of the movies rather than who is in the movies. We just want to watch well made movies. My husband ans children who don’t understand Hindi do not watch SRK movies but they love Aamir’s movies as well as movies such as Company, Gangster, Kaminey. These movies don’t have either of the Khans in them but are great movies.

i’ve just read the comments from my friends…. my opinion is, Aamir is a better actor than shahrukh. shahrukh rules only with his star power. Aamir doesn’t need any star power, but he is also a super star. He is creative in thinking and he is a dedicated actor. Shahrukh may be the same but Aamir is ahead.When Shahrukh markets himself to gain star power, Aamir promotes his films. Most of the stars in bollywood is waiting for a chance to do a film with Aamir. This is not the case with Shahrukh. Shahrukh fears to act with Aamir because he knows very well that Aamir will outshine him. Great to see both of them together on screen.

Skill in acting isn’t something you can measure off on a scale.
Each have their own strengths, and if you ask me, although both of them are amazing actors, even for starting this whole charade, they’re a bunch of ****.
SRK proclaiming himself as no. 1 was bound to provoke other people, but he did it anyway.
Amir went ahead and fell for the provocation while other ‘stars’ just humoured SRK. Now they’re both stuck in this mess while others sit back and watch with some fresh popcorn.
Like I said, you can’t compare skill in acting. It’s not something tangible because different styles appeal to different audiences as well.

Amir is best. Srk only does romantic films while aamir does different kind of movies. look if u r saying srk has more hits than aamir then its also true that srk has more flops than aamir. look after mela in 2000 none of aamirs movie are flopped in fact many are block busters. also srk’s movie such as ddlj and kkhh were hit only coz of beautiful songs not coz of srk. And also aamirs movie like jo jeeta wahi sikandar, lagaan, sarfarosh, dch, rang de bas, tare zameen are cult movies. there are many actors who can do films like om shanti om, rab ne banadi jodi but can any one make films like ghajini, lagaan, and 3idiots

Everybody….. commom!!! wake up…… there is no need to fight for Aamir and Shahrukh because it is totally invalid. 3 idiots is now the highest grosser in india as well as overseas.One of my friends commented that Shahrukh took bollywood overseas. Dear friend…. Aamir broke the records of Shahrukh overseas because people there realised the fact that Aamir is way better than shahrukh.As i commented in my previous post…… sharukh rules only with his stardom….. but Aamir who is also a superstar rules with his intensity and integrity.shahrukh is trying to attempt what Aamir did before…. Now one of the great directors of Hollywood, James Cameron is planning to do a movie with Aamir. U know why??? because Aamir is capable of doing it. This is not the case with shahrukh. James Cameron does not need an actor who always adopts the same techniques, who entertains the crowd for some quick cash and cheap publicity. taking abt aamir, he has done some best movies like TZP, sarfarosh, lagaan and ghajini. he has also done movies like ishq and 3 idiots which give great entertainment and comedy. but some of the films like fanna was totally bore. and dil chata hai was totaly headache. the movies like rangeela and mann were zero and raja hindustani was ok.
now taking about srk he has done only romantic movies. whenever he tries to do some other types of movies they fail like swadesh. he has done chack de which was non romantic which was very great film but it was the only one.
iam not a fan of aamir neither iam a fan of srk but i would say that aamir has moved to no 1 position by these two recent blockbusters ghajini and 3 idiots and especially with 3idiots

I’m Indonesian and Bollywood was a massive boom in my country about 10 years ago. SRK definitely more popular than Aamir at that time and maybe now in my country. I don’t know their personality quite well. But when i read about some of your comments ghiii it’s just like SRK fans VS Aamir fans. Here’s what i said, as the neutral party (i hope). I’ve watched more SRK films than Aamir but yes i think Aamir performs better than SRK. I’ve just watched 3 idiots, it’s great. If it’s not Aamir (but SRK) maybe it’ll be a more touching-romantic one. Aamir is a great actor.
I even plan to use 3 idiots as a topic for my presentation on one of my class in TEFL

Amir is the best actor dan srk cause amir tries to bring new movie to entertain the audience but srk wais for a movie……….. srk can act only romantic movie but amir is alrounder if u wnt da proof once recollect dis decade u find 99% of srks movies r love stories but amirs every movie is different………. den lets cum to behaviour many tellin amir has wriiten in his blog tat srk is dog but once listen to srks words he talks as if he is only da man who knows acting n all r learning frm him n he declares himself to be a king not only of b’wood but also india…………… and even he smokes when talk wid big delegates…….. if u think of stunts amir has made many stunts but srk very few…………….. he neverscreens a movie wid a publicity stunt even awful movie billu he has given 3 months of publicity even mnik is not awful but above avg was came wid a long duration of publicity stunt…….. one thing u have to believe tat srk makes movie for himself cause in b’wood der is a saying if srk acts in any movie its first srk den its character but if amir acts its first character den its amir………… you shud knw tat srk is publicity ka badshah but amir is bollywood ka badshah
