Salman Khan is so hot that even religious clerics can’t resist his hotness and popularity. Muslim Clerics of Darul Ifta has issued a fatwa against Salman Khan for attending Ganesh Puja (A Hindu Festival where people gather to worship Ganesh). The Muftis told media that Islam strictly forbids all kind of idol worship and by attending such a worship. Committing this crime Salman Khan is no more a Muslim. In order to regain his faith again Salman Khan must recite the Kalma in front of an Imam (the mosque leader) and two Muslim witnesses.
Being a Muslim I have no doubt about the Fatwa. The Tauheed (believing that there is no God but Allah) is the most important aspect of being a Muslim. This is the most fundamental principle of Islam. By showing any gratitude towards any false God we commit the sin of Shirk (making false gods who share Allah’s powers). So there is no doubt about the authenticity of the Fatwa.
But the question is, did Salman really took part in the worship or he was just there to attend a festival to make his millions of Hindu fans happy. If he was there only to attend the festival and not to worship, and his motive was to spread the religious harmony and brotherhood among different religious communities. Then he does not need any fatwa and does not need to get back to Islam. But only Salman knows what was in his heart when he was attending the festival.
About Fatwas, Islamic scholars do not issue a fatwa to harm a person’s popularity or things like that. In order to issue Fatwa they need someone who files a question. The guidance seeker provides them the information and based on the given information they issue their fatwa. For example some person shows them the pictures of some actress and asks them what does Islam says about this actress wearing this kind of clothes. Or someone shows them press statement of some person and asks them what Islam has to say about this. So the Fatwa is basically a general ruling and it is not targetted towards some specific person. It just explains things according to principles of Islam. I think this is what the religious clerics did in Salman’s case. They were told about Salman Khan attending Ganesh Pooja and they simply told that attending any worship of any false gods makes a person Murtid (the one who denies the basic faith) and in order regain his/her faith the person needs to recite the Kalma again in front of two Muslim witnesses.
The media loves to spice up things and they make it a Fatwa against Salman Khan. It is a fatwa against Salman Khan but it was not issued to pin point Salman Khan, it only explains basic principles of Islam. But since the questionnaire asked specifically about Salman Khan thats why it seems like a fatwa against Salman Khan. The Ulemas would have said the same thing even if it was not about Salman Khan.

I read about Salman Khan bein a non Muslim, due to him going and attending Ganesh puja.I truly understand it is part of bollywood
cinema, but there again it has been claimed of Salman Khan being fatwa. However i do not understand, why Shahruk Khan gets away
with things like this; i.e I’ve seen and followed the inner world of Shahruk Khan docmentry on Star Plus, he also did the puja
in his house, worshipping an idol and after that it showed the Qu’ran. So it show to them that Qu’ran isnt Shahruk Khan first
priority. Shahruk Khan also claims he puts Christmas tree in his house. So now explain to me who’s a bigger Fatwa? just because
a man is full of money, u dont dare to talk about them. But when a man has few fans, u just want to make matter worse. So next
time u want to talk about who’s a Fatwa, then do a survey on all bollywood muslim actors/tresses and get your fact right.
And pick on all and not just one. Maybe this time round u’ll get 100% of your fact right.

If u think that salman khan committed a crime by joining the gnesh puja then i also want to ask a quationto ammam that why SHAH RUKH KHAN put the Quran in the feet of an Idol. After all he is also a muslims.He also do puja.Why u did not issu a a ffetwa against SHAH RUKH KHAN.It is not good thing to destroy the repect of any person.

Salman khan is a true guy there is nothing wrong in attending a puja. The muslims believe that there is only one god. Why is everyone getting angry with him after all we are ll going to the same god but different paths.
So whats the fuss. The imams themselves dont know everything ive seen imams who smoke and drink and they never realise anythiung. For example they say there not allowed to take interest from banks how on earth are they suurviving do they not take out loans or anything there all commiting sins.

salman khan is a muslim but does not believe in it that much. i say this because i have not even once heard him say inshallah/ mashallah in any intereviews. when talking about shahrukh khan he is a muslim and he admits it, he also says that he always remembers allah all the time. so shahrukh khan should never be raised a finger at. shahrukh khan is the best and my love. salman khan is just an idiot, i hate him. shahrukh khan is always im my heart and i know for an fact that he remembers allah. and talking about the innerworkd of shahrukh khan on star plus, shahrukh khan is teaching his children that they should believe in allah, but because of gauri he has to respect her religion and cultural beliefs.

Hi.which idiot told that salman is not a muslim? people cannot blame him like dis. he is an muslim guy and i think all of them has seen the film tumko na bhul paayenge.in this film he read namaz and this is the proof to u people that salman is muslim.and there is nothing wrong if once he attends the pooja. and you people dont have the rights to blame like this to him.in the muslim religion if once the person reads the kalma till the death he is known as muslim.salman is very helping nature person. and very kind hearted man.i like him very much in front of salman all the other actors are waste.and i think in the bollywod he is the only actor who peple love specially to salman.and sallu bhai if u like this message then mail me.allah haafiz.

i think anyone who worships other than Allah (allah means the only one
worthy of worship)is out of islam no matter who it is ,sharuk khan or salman khan
or anyone from anywhere or any class,as it is what Allah says and
i know for a fact taht if a muslim does such a stupid/dangerous thing for any reason
then he/she is out of islam and if he wishes to come back to islam he needs/has to repent that he would not do it again ,and he has 2 witnesses while reciting Kalma or shahada infront of an imam to become muslim.
hope it crystalizes the whole situation and it is not only for sharuk or salman but for everyone esp muslims

When a law is past in a country, it is done by those who are qualified to do so, not the local grocery store sales man. When Islamic laws are passed, they are passed by people who have studied Islam all their lives. They are qualified to talk, YOU ARE NOT! Most of you can’t even SPELL!
Islam is not Salman Khan’s shirt that he can take it off when he wants and wear it when he wants. He obviously only believes in money, so does shahrukh, they are a bunch of shaytans.
PS: My comments are not for you Hindus who are defending salman – thats obvious you are going to anyway. Its for the stupid muslims.

I have seen the comments of few Muslims and I am really happy that they are progressive.
I luved the comment from Faisal that a Muslim is muslim till death.
Everybody should think like that and then there will be no fight.
All the fight is because of religious propagation.
We should all say a hindu is hindu forever, a muslim is muslim for ever and a christian is christian forever.
If we believe this–then we all can live in harmony.
Attending some one’s happy hour does not make someone less muslim or less hindu.

hi every one i can undrstand some people are angry becouse salman did some kind of pooja but listen guys i know salman did a wrong thing and allah is qafuur right,so every body had a mistake on some thing even sharuh khan if he did what my bros and sists sying even he is a person he can do a mistake and of course i like some comments up there but we must not hard on them .

salman khan is a great guy.It depends on a person that what religion he should follow. i respect salman bhai a lot because he is a great actor and a kind person and he give respect to all religions.i think god is one and we all should respect all the religion .salman khan’s mother is hindu and his father is muslim .hindu people also respect other religion so there should not be any clashes due to religion’s faith. violent takes place due to some kind violent statement not just by following or respecting any religion.to maintain the harmony it is our duty to follow our own religion and respect all religion.
