Based on a previous post on Desi Galaxy, we ask our readers to vote and tell us what they think about Bachchan’s not inviting Muslims to attend Abhishek’s wedding?
In the previous poll we asked:
Do you think Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are going to get married?
We recieved a total of 125 votes
49 out of 125 think that Salman and Katrina are really in love.
29 out of 125 voted that they are more interested in Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan wedding.
28 out of 125 thought that it is none of their business to spend time thinking about whether or not Salman and Katrina will get married.
19 out of 125 think that it is just a publicity stunt.

I guess the reason why the popular actors have stayed away from media is nothing but this kind of news you guys publish. Where is the question of “Muslims” Not invited for the wedding? How about Rani Mukherjee, Hritik Roshan and many others those haven’t been invited? Pls.do not conduct a poll of this kind to spoil poeple’s minds!!

Sitar master Amjad Ali Khan sons were at the wedding. They are muslim.
Rahmat Fateh Ali Khan was at the sangeet from paksitan. He is the nephew of the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He is a muslim!

i think that abhishek can stick his wedding invatation up his arse!!!!!! he did’t think of inviting SRK and salman khan then he is a b*****d!!!!! SRK and salman khan are the best in bollywood. ash did’nt invite salman because they went out but ash the idiot for not inviting the best names in bollywood.

i think the reason for not inviting some of the muslims, isn’t really just bcs they r muslims. i think the real reason is something else which only they will know. its better v don’t judge on things dat v don’t know about & leave dem alone.

I don’t think Bachanchan family have anything against muslim, he invited few guest not only muslims,but other caste also,he even invited muslim from pakistan.Reason behind not inviting big muslim stars or other stars,I think he want to keep media away,secondly his mother was also not well,so he want to celebrate wedding quietly and peacefully .

All of this is really none of our bussiness, she was involved with Salman she didn’t invite him and I don’t know
why they didn’t invite the rest of the Khan’s but I’m sure theirs a reason why some Khan’s weren’t invited, and this has not to do with religion, as long as I don’t think it does, The only thing that matters is that their happy now and they’ve moved on with their lives so why are we still here and arguing about why they didn’t invite muslims to the wedding. I also heard that they didn’t invite SRK because, of something personal between “Big B” and him.

Well i dont understand why are media creating a scene i dont think they made a really bad mistake by not inviting the khans it was der wedding its up to dem i luv khans im a khan too but i dont think the bachanas are wrong.

Amitabh is just jealous of muslims especially shahrukh khan and so, in other words, he took a revenge from muslims. But amitabh jee, don’t forget that u can never beat shahrukh. kuch bhi kar lo magar tum shahrukh say kam hee kamao gee. Your remarks on the Muslim issue in the wedding are misguided and wrong. Please do not entertain such thoughts even or be influenced by those that construct them. They are malicious and repulsive.
But to set the record straight you must know that Abu Jani the celebrated designer treats Jaya as her sister and she him as a brother and he as the Mama of the boy conducted all the ceremonies for Abhishek. Habib Nadiadwala and Anwar Ali, brother of Mehmood are my dearest friends and we go to the Haji Ali dargah at Mumbai regularly together. They were an important part of the wedding. Also know that one of Shweta my daughter and Abhishek’s dearest friends Hassan, is from Pakistan. They were all studying together in Boston. Both my children refused to conduct any marriage ceremony until Hassan was present. We had a lot of problems arranging a visa for him, but come he did and we waited. Once there, he conducted himself just like a family member in a house where a wedding was taking place.
Above all this however you must know that my greatest joy at the wedding was that I shared the important moment with my staff. My drivers, of which Habib is one that has remained with me for long and Mohammed all came with their families as did all the other domestic staff. I felt proud that I could feed them with my own hands and look after those that have looked after me for over 30 years.

the first reason that bachan gat married with ashwarya was that she is popular than him and
he also wanted her because she was a really nice girl.

I think that they didn’t invite SRK and Salman Khan is because they are at the top and Abhishek can only dream of being there. That is their choice but it seems kind of bad form not to invite SRK as they are all apart of the film fraternity. Salman is understandable considering he and Aishwariya Rai were together and broke up on bad terms.
