The wedding of Aishwarya and Abhishek is further delayed till next month. A news report on the India Times has crushed the rumors about wedding venue. There were rumors that the grand event would take place in either some royal palace in Jodhpur, Jaipur Rajasthan or a five star hotel in Mumbai. Instead the venue is Amitabh Bachchan’s house ‘Prateeksha’. The wedding itself will not be a grand event according to the times only close friends and relatives are invited to the wedding. However, the wedding would be followed by receptions in Delhi and Mumbai. Bollywood and India’s business and political elite is expected to attend these receptions.

It is also reported that the rights to capture and broadcast the wedding has been sold to an International Media house for an undisclosed amount of money.

Amitabh Bachchan’s mother and Grooms grand mother, Teji Bachchan, is ill and admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The Bachchans are quite worried and they do not want to delay it any further, the expected date is 18 April.
