Mallika said that she would have done a lot better than Kareena. I think this is good, they are professionals and claiming to do better than each other is a sign of healthy competition.

For, it’s a well-known fact that there’s no love lost between the two. Their rivalry goes back to the time when Mallika was Reema Lamba, and she played Kareena’s best friend and confidante in Vashu Bhagnani’s Jeena Sirrf Tere Liye .

A source close to the unit of that long forgotten film says, “The vibes between the two were so cold that the sets would freeze the minute the two actresses walked in.” After the film, Mallika had confessed to a friend, “Bebo treated me like dirt. I was just a nobody, and she made me feel like dirt. Bebo wouldn’t talk to me. Even my hellos went unanswered. I felt miserable.”
