ICICI Bank Hires Shahrukh Khan
To target more NRIs (NRI non resident Indian ), ICICI has signed a deal with Shahrukh Khan to represent the bank as Brand Ambassador. There is no need to say about the popularity of Shahrukh Khan among Indians everywhere. ICICI Bank has a presence in 12 countries including major markets of the US, UK, Canada and the Middle-East. The Bank has assets of USD 43 billion as on September 30 last year and they are confident that Mr Khan’s image and popularity with non-resident Indians (NRIs) will further reinforce its global identity.
The bank presently has a network of over 600 branches and extension counters and 2,070 ATMs and its international operations include catering to the cross-border needs of clients and leveraging of its domestic banking strengths to offer products internationally.
