I was writing about the classics of 60’s and was looking for some images of movie posters to accompany my essay. Suprisingly there are not many resources for Indian movie posters. I thought that may be I should write a post about these online resources to appreciate the work they are doing.

Cafe Dreams offers you to own a little peice of your favorite stars. They display and sell original, new and old, rare and vintage movie posters, lobby cards, celebrity memorabilia and other hard to find goodies. There collection has poster of Anmol Ghadi, Baiju Bawra, classics from 50s, 60s and 70s with many new posters available aswell. They also host a special gallery for classic movie posters of the legendary star Amitabh Bachchan.

Hand Painted Horror movie Posters of India
Hotspot online has an extensive collection of classic hand painted movie posters of Indian horror movies. These posters are very well kept and the display is a lot better than cafedreams. You can browse their archives for free and buy the posters if you feel like.

Bollywood Vintage Posters
Hotspot also has an extensive collection of vintage bollywood pre 60’s posters. They also have tonns of posters from 60s, 70’s,80’s and 90s. Their collection is huge and very interesting. The hand painted vintage posters are so colorful and artistic that I just kept clicking on different galleries. They also have movie posters from other countries. Almost all these items are on sell but I didn’t check the prices.
